Many folks think it's better not to suggest an interpretation of an abstract work, since it short-circuits the viewer's own interpretation that might otherwise form. I normally don't add a description. But since the title is suggestive anyway, I might as well explain what's behind my interpretation and therefore the title.

As this image developed, this is what I saw:
  • On the left, the vertical walls of the Transamerica Pyramid: [link]

  • On the right, rolling hills and the rows of brightly-colored houses on some of the SF streets: [link]

  • In the center, the twisting curves of Lombardy Street: [link]

I hope that the description adds to, rather than detracts from, your viewing experience. Thanks for looking.
