Make me think to a stare, a stare to the darkest side of math
A fine render with a powerful narrative.
I'm glad that you feel it, Darren. Thank you!
It's a fascinating piece; almost figurative: like the vaulted ceiling of some ancient structure.
Like a Romanesque vaulted ceiling...it appeals to the medieval monk in me!
Excellent i love the colors and lighting
Beautiful and fascinating, Vic. That line from top to bottom intrigues me. Did you "draw" that or did it "emerge" somehow as you manipulated the fractal?
The line is an artifact of the formulas that I used to create the image. There are techniques that I could have tried to eliminate it, in hopes of achieving a "cleaner" image. But I rather liked the line, so I didn't even try. It gives me the sense of a taut string of lights overhead, perhaps even the source of illumination in the rest of the image.
wonderful work! when Escher would have drawn Cathedrals ...
Awesome, looks like gothic arches
